WWII German 3rd SS-Panzer-Division MG42 Gunner Series

Remember the MG34 gunner team last year? It consists by D80124 Alois, D80125 Bradric and D80127 Curtis.

In 1942, MG42 was develop to intended to replace MG34, for its lower cost and easy to build. And it was proved to be highly reliable and easy to operate. It is most notable for its very high cyclic rate for a gun using full power service cartridges, averaging about 1200 rounds per minute. The distinctive sound caused by the high cyclic firing rate gave MG42 the nickname “Hitler’s buzzsaw”.

A metal highly-detailed MG42 replica in 1/6 scale is included in D80130, carried by Dustin.

Same as MG34, the high cyclic firing rate lead to large consumption of bullets. Someone has to carry the bullet chain and drum magazine for Dustin.

The problem of overheated in the shooting is not avoidable as well. So spare barrel needs to be included as well.

Egon is the assistant of Dustin. It is his job to carry the bullet chain and spare barrel.

Different with MG34C Curtis, MG42 Version C is a NCO. He is responsible for training, recruiting, tech or military policing. The army refers to them as its “backbone”.

NCO Fredro is carrying PPSH-41 and a Mauser C96.

Roger Moore

The Roger Moore figure has been updated with a more authentic headsculpt.

Also a suitable black suit, white shirt and a black tie are also included, giving more options to collectors when they DIY their Roger.
