Brief Introduction
Besides Baldric, there is another assistant called Curtis in the MG34 gunner team.
As MG34 is air-cooled machine gun, it would easily got overheated and could not continue to work until the barrel was changed. It needs someone to carry spare barrel and get it exchanged as soon as possible. That’s Curtis’s job.
Curtis is also responsible for carrying the tripod mount and spider sight. With the help of them, the power of MG34 was hugely enlarged and it can shoot down the airplanes.
